Humanoid Ledger 27 robots · checked 19 Oct 2026

Methodology

How the specs are sourced

Each field in src/data/robots.json is either null or an object with value, source, and checked. The page renders that object. It does not fill a gap.

Unknown and Not announced

Checked dates

checked is the day that source was read, as YYYY-MM-DD. It is printed under the fact. If that day is more than 30 days before the build, the cell is marked stale. The date of an event, such as a launch, is separate and is not turned into a checked date.

Status

Status values in the dataset are concept, pilot, shipping, or retired. A null status is shown as Unknown. The label on the page is the same word, capitalized.

Sorting

Height, weight, payload, degrees of freedom, runtime, and price sort by the numeric fields in the dataset (cm, kg, n, hours, usd, eur) when those fields exist. Rows without a number sort last. Dollars and euros are not converted. The visible cell stays the full sourced string, including words like “from”, “planned”, or “estimated”.

Machine-readable offer

When a price field includes usd or eur, the page’s JSON-LD Offer uses that number and puts the full sourced sentence in description. Prices without a numeric field get no Offer. Not announced and Unknown get no Offer.

Changelog

npm run changes rebuilds src/data/changes.json. Updates whose source gave a full date are grouped into ISO weeks. Updates whose source gave only a month stay in the month-precision list. If robots.json differs from the copy in git HEAD, changed fields are appended to the week of the new checked date.

Corrections

A correction is a data edit, not a rewrite of a page.

  1. Edit the robot in src/data/robots.json. Keep value, source, and checked together. Use null when you still have no source.
  2. Run npm run changes so the diff lands on What changed.
  3. Run npm run og if the robot’s name, price, or status should change on the social image.
  4. Run npm run build.

Report a correction.

No public repository URL is set. Add one as repository in site.config.mjs when there is a place to send a correction.
